Shanghai French School is a private, non-profit international school managed by parents. It welcomes approximately 1,470 students representing 45 nationalities, ranging in age from 2 to 18 years old (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12), across its Qingpu and Yangpu campuses.

We are currently seeking an Operations Project Manager to support our multi-site operations at the Lycée Français de Shanghai.

Your mission will be to supervise, coordinate, and optimize operational projects across the school’s campuses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and management to ensure efficient processes, consistent practices, and the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. As a transversal leader, you will help drive improvement, alignment, and innovation in our operational workflows.

Profil recherché

Main Responsibilities:

 Multi-site Project Supervision

• Lead and monitor key operational and infrastructure projects across both campuses
• Ensure harmonization of procedures and creation of operational synergies
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables
• Coordinate with technical teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Strategic Support to the Operations Department

• Produce and analyze operational KPIs
• Contribute to the structuring and follow-up of high-priority or complex projects
• Support reorganization efforts and capacity building across operations

Team Support

• Assist supervisors in strengthening their technical and project management skills
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration and communication

Euro-Campus Project Coordination

In partnership with DSS, oversee shared projects such as:

• Campus Renovation Plan
• Yangpu Theater and Art Center Decoration
• Student Lounge development
• Access Security (VMS) and Safety Enhancements
• Technical Acceptances and Infrastructure Audits
• Energy savings and sustainability actions

Please note: The projects listed below are provided for reference purposes and may evolve depending on operational priorities and organizational needs. The Operations Director may also retain oversight of certain key projects

Safety Planning & Compliance

• Organize and follow up on fire and lockdown drills
• Ensure procedures are in place and aligned with local safety regulations
• Collaborate with relevant authorities and facility services

Profil:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in project and operations management
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams
• Familiarity with educational or institutional environments is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Language Requirements:
  • Fluent Mandarin and English required
  • French proficiency is appreciated
